Just like everyone else, I felt pretty miserable as a skinny guy. Like I wasn't good enough because I was small. This was back before every fit girl was doing glute workouts and deadlifts. When men were supposed to be lean and mean, not jacked and swole. I wish I could show my younger self that you don't have to follow the herd or shrink away in shame because your body doesn't conform to certain ideals. You just have to get good at being you. And if you want to get fit, stay healthy, lose fat, or gain muscle, the best approach is to prioritize whether your journey is fun and sustainable for YOU."

Plenty of dieters attempts to lose weight by slashing their calorie intake and increasing their exercise frequency. However, this isn't always the best course of action, as many people can effectively gain the lean muscle mass that burns calories and fat even when the body is at rest. The key is to consume enough protein-rich foods to feed the muscles the necessary nutrients for developing strength and size without consuming too much protein.
